Who am I ?

Passionate traveler and drawer since I was a child, I decided in 2020 to share my creations on a theme that is close to my heart: the observation of nature

After a career in the health environment and then in art history, I decided to devote myself to my passion.
My work is inspired by my travels and my admiration for the culture and art of Japan.

ART TECHNIQUES

Digital art is a technique of drawing and painting on a digital tablet. It was in 2015 that I started to experiment with this method. Due to a lack of space for my traditional art supplies, I continued my art on the computer.

Drawing with pencils and charcoal. I make my studies on different Japanese papers.

Nihonga. After painting with oils for several years, it was in 2014 that I began to experiment with the traditional Japanese painting technique, Nihonga. It is an art technique based on natural and synthetic pigments deposited on a paper or silk support.

AWAGAMI PAPER

Awagami paper is a fine art paper made from renewable resources in the traditional Japanese spirit by the Fujimori family in Tokushima, Japan.

The printing is done by me on different types of Japanese paper in Capbreton in the Landes.

ECOLOGICAL COMMITMENT  Engagement feuille

In order to limit the environmental impact, I chose to limit the excess of packaging as much as possible.
The illustrations are wrapped in rice paper used for calligraphy. As for the postcards, they are delivered in a reusable burlap pouch.
All wrapped in a simple cardboard box to recycle.
